2002 Nintendo Pokemon Legendary Collection

This, the 12th series in the English Pokemon Trading Card Game, is a combination of cards from Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket plus one Black Star Promo in Mewtwo. Legendary was a popular set due in part to card collation. Multiple cards from the same evolution line could be found in a single pack, thus speeding up deck building for players. This was the first Pokemon set to include box toppers inside of sealed booster boxes, and may have been the first set to include reverse hologram cards as well.
