The 42nd National Sports Collectors Convention took place from July 27 through 31 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Tens of thousands of hobby enthusiasts rushed through the doors each day, with many of them submitting trading cards to PSA for authentication and grading. Their orders ran the gamut from football and basketball to baseball and hockey to TCG and everything in between.
At the conclusion of the event, I had the opportunity to pour through several thousand of the most eye-popping cards that PSA encapsulated onsite and selected my 100 personal — and purely subjective — favorites from the show. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.
