From Victorian Era and Modern comic books to magazines like Sports Illustrated, People, and even PSA Magazine, PSA will accept standard-sized books and sports programs. Each service level includes Premium Imaging and Grader Notes—and there are no handling fees. All comics and magazines graded by PSA are backed by PSA’s authenticity guarantee.

Benefits of PSA Grading
Established Standards
PSA created the 10-point grading scale for cards that is now the industry standard. We are bringing our expertise to comics and magazines by using the industry standard 10-point grading scale, allowing for decimal increments for more accuracy on these services.
Authentication
Knowing your item is genuine is important to both collectors and potential buyers. The process of identifying your comic or magazine as an authentic product offers peace of mind for yourself and potential buyers or traders. We will also identify key features of your item that make it special, such as publishing date, variant, and other information.
Grading
PSA utilizes a decimalized numerical scale from 0.3 (Poor) to 10 (Gem Mint) by which to judge the quality and condition of your items. We currently accept most standard-size comics from the Victorian Era, Platinum Age, Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, Copper Age, and modern books, as well as a wide range of standard-size magazine titles from Sports Illustrated to PSA Magazine and sports programs.
Security
PSA encapsulates every comic book and magazine in a tamper-evident, sealed case. These attractive, UV-resistant polycarbonate holders provide protection from most damage. They are 99.9% UV-reflective, and highly resistant to water, heat, and cold. Once it’s sealed, you can rest assured that your item will remain secure from further wear.
