Professional Model Bat Authentication Process

Our authenticators have a diverse knowledge base that is complemented by proprietary methods and technology to form the following four-step authentication process.

Step 1

Examination

PSA employs the same state-of-the art technology used for autograph authentication to protect your genuine bat from any foul play.

Step 2

Anti-Counterfeiting

Once deemed authentic, the bat is marked with invisible DNA-laced ink, which is naked to the eye but verifiable through a specially calibrated infrared laser.

Step 3

Certification

PSA then registers a unique certification number for your item within our database, allowing the authenticity to be verified online at any point in the future.

Step 4

Documentation

Finally, a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) containing a photo of your bat and specific details on the analysis is created to accompany your order.
