1972 O-Pee-Chee

The 1972 O-Pee-Chee Baseball set consists of 525 cards and is the Canadian counterpart to the 1972 Topps set. Each 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" card boasts a vivid color photo in an arch shape and surrounded with a bi-color border, all of which is contained within the overall white border. The player’s name is printed with a white panel below the picture while the team name is above the picture. Card backs feature the player’s name and career statistics, but differ from their American cousins via the “Made in Canada” tagline and the fact that information is printed in both English and French. The set is anchored by Hall of Famers and stars that include Hank Aaron, Roberto Clemente, Willie Mays, and Pete Rose.
