1974 Topps Stamps

The 1974 Topps Stamps set consists of 240 pieces, each measuring 1” by 1-1/2”. The fronts consist of color player photos set against a realistic, perhaps stadium, background. Each athlete’s name, team name, and position appear beneath his likeness in a colored oval. The company issued these unnumbered collectibles in 12-stamp panels and also sold them separately as individual stamps. 24 albums were also sold to hold ten stamps each. Hank Aaron, Luis Aparicio, Johnny Bench, Bert Blyleven, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Jim “Catfish” Hunter, Reggie Jackson, Fergie Jenkins, Harmon Killebrew, Brooks Robinson, Nolan Ryan, Tom Seaver, Willie Stargell, Don Sutton, Billy Williams, Dave Winfield and Carl Yastrzemski are some of the Hall of Famers and stars of the era anchoring the set.
