He finished his coaching career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1993. Dineen was elected as an inaugural inductee into the WHA Hall of Fame in 2010 and inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 2014. Died December 10th, 2016, aged 84.

He finished his coaching career with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1993. Dineen was elected as an inaugural inductee into the WHA Hall of Fame in 2010 and inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame in 2014. Died December 10th, 2016, aged 84.

Played 16 seasons in the NHL all with the Boston Bruins. Milt centered the famed "Kraut Line" with wingers Woody Dumart & Bobby Bauer. Milt was the NHL's Scoring Leader in 1940. In 1951 Milt was named team Captain and was named the leagues most valuable player winning the Hart Memorial Trophy. Milt ended the 1954/55 season as the Bruins head coach taking over from Lynn Patrick and remained head coach for 11 seasons. Milt became the Bruins General Manager in 1967 and buit a bruin team that won Stanley Cups in 1970 & 72. In 1975 milt left the Bruins to become the GM of the Washington Capitals. Schmidt won 2 Stanley Cups in 1939 & 1940 and appeared in 4 All-Star Games. In 1996 Schmidt was awarded the Lester Patrick Trophy for his contribution to hockey in the United States. The Hockey News ranked him 27th on the 1998 list of the 100 Greatest Hockey Players. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1961 the same year the Bruins retired his #15.
