This set is quite similar to the inaugural edition of 1952. Once again there are 25 players from each league and two managers. The cards are the same size (3½" by 4") with a removable tab that was redeemable for prizes. One improvement over the 1952 edition is the numbering system, which is now in with the player's biography rather than on the tab. Stars include Yogi Berra, Duke Snider and Stan Musial.
