1951 Topps Red Back - Basic

Topps first mainstream card issues, both 52 card sets (akin to a deck of playing cards) which could be used to play a card game of baseball, while conceptually interesting, draws collector interest mainly by reputation as the "first Topps sets." The Red Backs set features stars Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Bob Feller, and Duke Snider among others. The Blue Backs set, while significantly harder to assemble than Red Backs, contains fewer stars by comparison, foremost among them Johnny Mize and Bobby Doerr.
