Bid McPhee is the only player in the Hall of Fame selected mainly for his achievments in the American Association, which was a major league in the 1880's and early 1890's. McPhee greatest talent (like fellow Hall of Fame Second Baseman Bill Mazeroski) was as a fielder. Unlike Maz, however, McPhee did it without a glove.

Among the first cards ever issued of Honus -- this is the first one you are likely to find. The others are exceptionlly rare in any conditon. The image of Wagner here was used a few years later for his legendary T206 card.
