Possible Set Rating
When the top 50 NBA players list was released, we knew it would be just a matter of time before the requests started pouring in to have this set become part of our registry. The key card is obviously the Mikan, which throws the whole set weighting algorithm askew due to its being so highly valued. Kareem (Lew), Bill Russell, Wilt, and Jordan all round out the upper percentile for the rest of the weighting. This set is truly for all of the basketball afficionados out there who would be proud to say that they have one of the finest sets of the top 50 players who ever stepped onto the hardwood.
Notes: This set requires specific cards. There will be no additions or deletions to the list of cards required, which can be viewed on the Set Composition page. The 1980-81 Topps #6 is a combo card for Bird/Johnson resulting in 49 cards to the set rather than 50.
