Well here it is, my best PSA Bench cards... Feel free to contact me with questions or leads on items I am missing... I started collecting Johhny Bench items around 1986 when Johnny came to visit Ft. Gordon, Ga. My father was a company commander at the time and although we were out of town his first sergeant got him one of the signed baseballs Johnny signed while standing at the end of a pool table in the barracks. My dad gave me the baseball and I started collecting his cards and have never stopped... I cleaned out the local card stores of everything a 12 year old could afford. Then the lull before the internet and living in Germany for awhile slowed things down. I wish I had more of the ultra rare items in the set, but they are hard to find. I have a couple of the "No Longer Grade" items, but PSA left me high and dry on getting them done, but I still love the Mengler cards raw, I actually have the original pencil sketch of the Mengler card that was signed by JB in 1976... Jason, Beautiful Set !!!! johnny Bench was probably the best all around catcher to ever play. I appreciate how hard you worked on your set by noting that you have a couple of others in the "top 10", so i know you are constantly updating, as I do with my Tom Seaver Sets. PSA should move items in the sets that they no longer grade to Optional Status. I am very disappointed since I went to GREAT lengths to aquire a couple of the cards listed in this set only to have them send them back as "No Longer Grade".

Hello, I have been collecting Johnny Bench items since I was about 11 or 12 years old and finally got to register my set recently... I would really like to get the complete set of the Rose/Bench Lincoln Mercury postcards so if anyone has the ones I don't please let me know if you want to sell or trade, I have a few extra of some of the harder to find items in this set.
