The 1987 Topps Tiffany set consists of 792 cards, each measuring 2-1/2" by 3-1/2”. This set was identical in design to the regular 1987 Topps Baseball issue, with a color player photo is framed by a faux wood grain border. The Topps logo appears in black lettering with the ballplayer’s name in white lettering within a color box. The respective team logo appears at the corner of each piece. Card backs include the athlete’s name, position, card number, and statistics. The main difference between the sets was that the Tiffany version featured glossy fronts. Highlights include Roger Clemens (#340), Mark McGwire (#366), and Nolan Ryan (#757) plus rookie cards from Bo Jackson (#170), Barry Bonds (#320), Will Clark (#420), Rafael Palmeiro (#634), and Barry Larkin (#648). The set was only available through Topps hobby dealers, with an astonishing 30,000 sets produced.
