While it may not be the toughest set to complete in the registry, the 1964 Topps Giants set does offer the collector some great features. The three intriguing features are namely set size, set price, and star power. Even the average collector, one who cannot afford a $20,000 set from the 1960s, can afford to assemble this small treasure, even in high-grade. The set includes some great stars like Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron, Sandy Koufax, and the tough short print of Willie Mays. There are also some semi-star and common players who find themselves on short printed cards. This small group of cards offers an additional challenge to the collector. Due to the accessibility of the set, it is somewhat plentiful considering the era, it is affordable for many.
