This 154-card set was issued over a two-year period. As is true of the 1960 Fleer set, this series uses great players of the past as its theme. The cards are the standard 2½" by 3½" and feature a color player portrait on the front and a player biography and statistical information on the back. The first 88 cards were issued in 1961 and numbers 89 through 154 followed in 1962.
