Published Set: The Twist

1960 was the year Chubbie Checker came out with the twist. The main night site for Chubbie and the twist was the peppermint lounge on 45th street off Broadway. We lived on 44th and 10th . We used to peer into the windows and look at the older kids rockin, but alas we were too young to participate.
