Topps' first set using the standard 2 ½ x 3 ½ format showed the company continuing at peak form. Added to the usual excellent design was the innovation of complete yearly statistics on the back. Player selection remained top-notch with some great rookie cards thrown in for good measure (Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, and Jim Bunning). As usual, Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle represented the top guns for this set. To read an in-depth article, click here.
