The 1953 Canadian Exhibits set consists of 64 blank-backed postcard sized cards displaying Major Leaguer Baseball players and members of the Montreal Royals of the International League. Each card measures 3-1/4” by 5-1/4” and appears in varying colors and hues. Cards tinted green or red number from #1-32, while cards #32-64 were printed in blue and reddish-brown. Strictly printed in 1953, the cards possess action or portrait style photographs with the player’s name seemingly hand-printed at the bottom of each with the year’s issuance printed below as “53”. The grey stock cards are numbered in the upper right corner. Significant cards include Gil Hodges (#13), Bob Feller (#17), Jackie Robinson (#19), Roy Campanella (#20), Pee Wee Reese (#21), Phil Rizzuto (#25), Joe DiMaggio (#28), Ted Williams (#30), Warren Spahn (#32), Tom La Sorda (Lasorda) (#50) and Stan Musial (#57).
