This series of cards was intended as a card game rather than as collectibles per se. It is believed that there are 43 different player cards in the set, plus a rules card, a score card, and nine anonymous "action" cards. Some checklists include Chief Meyers and Zach Wheat, but these cards were probably never issued. The cards measure 2½" by 3½" and exhibit a black and white photo of the player. Most of the cards are easily affordable, but the Ty Cobb and "Shoeless" Joe Jackson issues are relatively expensive.
