The 1910 Old Mill T210 complete set consists of 640 cards, each one 1-1/2” by 2-5/8”. The T210 is unique for a number of reasons. For example, the total complement makes it the largest 20th century tobacco-issued baseball series. Furthermore, it is comprised of eight different series, each one representing a different minor league. The set is immediately identifiable due to its distinctive red borders that surround a sepia likeness of the ballplayer; his surname and team are noted in black print at the bottom. Card backs include identification of the series number and Old Mill Cigarettes brand name. The set includes: Series 1 (South Atlantic League) -- Augusta (#s 1-13), Columbia (#s 14-26), Columbus (#s 27-39), Jacksonville (#s 40-51), Macon (#s 52-63), and Savannah (#s 64-75); Series 2 (Virginia League) -- Danville (#s 76-88), Lynchburg (#s 89-105), Norfolk (#s 106-117), Portsmouth (#s 118-132), Richmond (#s 133-151), and Roanoke (#s 152-162); Series 3 (Texas League) -- Dallas (#s 163-181), Fort Worth (#s 182-197), Galveston (#s 198-204), Houston (#s 205-216), Oklahoma City (#s 217-221), San Antonio (#s 222-230), Shreveport (#s 231-243) and Waco (#s 244-257); Series 4 (Virginia Valley League) -- Charleston (#s 258-272), Huntington (#s 273-285), Montgomery (#s 286-296), and Mt. Pleasant (#s 297-306); Series 5 (Carolina Association) -- Anderson (#s 307-320), Charlotte (#s 321-335), Greensboro (#s 336-348), Greenville (#s 349-364), Spartanburg (#s 365-379), and Winston-Salem (#s 380-393); Series 6 (Blue Grass League) -- Frankfort (#s 394-401), Lexington (#s 402-414), Maysville (#s 415-422), Paris (#s 423-433), Richmond (#s 434-443), Shelbyville (#s 444-446), and Winchester (#s 447-459); Series 7 (Eastern Carolina League) -- Fayetteville (#s 460-468), Goldsboro (#s 469-490), Raleigh (#s 491-504), Rocky Mount (#s 505-519), Wilmington (#520), and Wilson (#s 521-526); Series 8 (Southern Association) -- Atlanta (#s 527-539), Birmingham (#s 540-556), Chattanooga (#s 557-566), Memphis (#s 567-580), Mobile (#s 581-592), Montgomery (#s 593-608), Nashville (#s 609-625), and New Orleans (#s 626-640). T210 Old Mills are somewhat fragile, with their red borders very susceptible to damage and the surfaces prone to creasing. Without question, Series 8 is considered to be the rarest series of the T210 Old Mill set, with the Joe Jackson exemplar the key card in the set – and also the rarest. Fewer than ten Joe Jackson Old Mill cards are known to exist.
