A.L. Championship Series MVP Single Signed Baseballs
These men were able to step up in the postseason and help give their team a shot at the World Series title. Since 1980, there have been many memorable performances. Some captured MVP honors with their bat like George Brett for the Kansas City Royals in 1985 and David Ortiz for the Boston Red Sox in 2004, while others dominated on the mound like Oakland A's pitchers Dennis Eckersley in 1988 or Dave Stewart in 1990. While each of the aforementioned players were stars of the regular season, sometimes, a lesser-known player emerges with a breakout performance like Adam Kennedy did in 2002 for the Anaheim Angels. Each of the honorees made a name for themselves by coming through in the clutch.
Notes: All balls autographed on the "sweet spot" receive 1 bonus point. In order for a single-signed graded baseball to qualify for the Single-Signed Baseball categories, the item must have undergone the full, Autographed Baseball Grading service, which assigns individual grades for the autograph and baseball along with an overall grade. If the baseball was submitted under the general Autograph Grading service, which only assigns a grade to the autograph, please be advised that it is only eligible for the Any Medium categories.
