Hall of Fame Ford Frick Award Winners Single Signed Baseballs
This award is given to those who exhibit excellence in baseball broadcasting and this autograph set is made up of each of its recipients. In 1978, MLB began issuing this award to recognize the broadcaster for his or her contribution to baseball. The Ford Frick Award winners are selected by a committee of baseball executives and media personnel. This set includes the likes of Mel Allen, Curt Gowdy and Vin Scully. Their distinctive voices are a part of baseball history, linked to some of the greatest moments in the game.
Notes: All balls autographed on the "sweet spot" receive 1 bonus point. In order for a single-signed graded baseball to qualify for the Single-Signed Baseball categories, the item must have undergone the full, Autographed Baseball Grading service, which assigns individual grades for the autograph and baseball along with an overall grade. If the baseball was submitted under the general Autograph Grading service, which only assigns a grade to the autograph, please be advised that it is only eligible for the Any Medium categories.
