Since 1956, the Cy Young Award, named after the all-time MLB leader in wins, has been given to the best pitcher in each respective league annually. Some pitchers have been able to capture more than one award during the course of their careers like Roger Clemens (the all-time leader with 7 total Cy Youngs) and Greg Maddux while star pitchers, even Hall of Famers, never won the prestigious award like Nolan Ryan and Don Sutton. Others, like Pete Vuckovich and Mark Davis, are examples of pitchers who had less than stellar careers but were able to shine bright for one memorable season. Generally speaking, this set composition reads like a who's-who of mound legends.

Notes: All balls autographed on the "sweet spot" receive 1 bonus point.
In order for a single-signed graded baseball to qualify for the Single-Signed Baseball categories, the item must have undergone the full, Autographed Baseball Grading service, which assigns individual grades for the autograph and baseball along with an overall grade. If the baseball was submitted under the general Autograph Grading service, which only assigns a grade to the autograph, please be advised that it is only eligible for the Any Medium categories.
