We're looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This role reports to the Controller and will work from our Santa Ana, CA headquarters (hybrid). After training is complete, a hybrid schedule will be an option. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Help facilitate the monthly close process.
  • Prepare and review journal entries to ensure that accounting records are maintained in conformity with US GAAP.
  • Prepare fluctuation analysis at the account level and identify drivers of change.
  • Assist in the preparation of month end reports for both internal and external audiences.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Assist in the research of complex accounting issues.
  • Assist in the supervision of a team of senior and staff accountants.
  • Interface with and support external auditors and consultants.
  • Interface on a regular basis with senior management.

Who You Are:

  • CPA strongly preferred
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience working in public accounting, or combination of public accounting and private company experience
  • Must be very strong with Excel
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Works efficiently, always looking for ways to make process improvements
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, high volume environment

What You’ll Do:

  • Entry of Accounts Payable into Quickbooks Desktop
  • Processing of outgoing payments including checks, wires, and ACH
  • Reconciliation of statements to payments
  • Issuing payout statements and invoices as needed
  • Follow-up on chargebacks and other payment issues
  • Respond to emails relating to billing and payment inquiries
  • Minor work needed for month end financial close

Who You Are:

  • At least 4-7 years of relevant payables, receivables, or accounting experience
  • Must have QuickBooks experience (ideally Desktop version)
  • Must be very strong with Excel

We’re looking for a Cash Applications Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable and Collections team to apply customer payments to customer orders in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Critical skills include familiarity with accounts receivable processes, troubleshooting skills, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to interface effectively with operations and customer service departments.

You’ll report to the A/R and Collections Supervisor and work from our Sana Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply customer payments to their accounts accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare daily bank deposit by using a scanner and then posting to the appropriate customer order.
  • Process customer credit card payments in accordance with company policy.
  • Reconcile payments to ensure proper application.
  • Maintain files, including scanning documents to electronic files.
  • Troubleshoot problem orders and accounting holds.
  • Create, maintain/track, and close show order projects.
  • Resolve customer short payments by contacting the customer via email and phone.
  • Occasional travel required.

We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the Finance team here at Collectors, the leader in third-party grading and authentication services for high-value collectibles. Collectors is part of the privately held Collectors Holdings group which also includes the PSA, PCGS and WATA divisions under the Collectors umbrella. As a member of the FP&A and Strategic Finance team, you will contribute to our company’s mission by enabling key decision making with financial insights. This role reports directly to our Director of FP&A at Collectors. Key customers include functional leaders (VP FP&A, CFO), department leaders and divisional business leaders (presidents, GMs).

  • Play a key leadership role in defining, improving, and executing critical business planning (AOP, LRP), budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Support the build and updating of the consolidated Collectors Holdings P-L, cash flow and balance sheet forecast
  • Develop and communicate key financial and operational metrics to create transparency into performance and inform strategic and operational decisions

We are hiring a Business Operations Analyst to join the Collectors Vault team. This team is responsible for developing the strategy, launching, and then scaling Collectors Vault which represents the most important strategic growth initiative of the business. Collectors Vault is a high security storage service for collectibles, but beyond that it integrates the various business units at Collectors Universe to create a new platform for collecting. Collectors Vault represents the next generation of collecting, and will power a fundamentally different integrated experience for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles.

This is a high impact role that will have exposure to senior management and all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate is an independent thinker with a bias for action, and is equal parts analytical, strategic, and entrepreneurial. Intellectual curiosity is a must, and prior experience or interest in D2C eCommerce, marketplace businesses, or Web3 is a bonus. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform operational initiatives including pricing, unit economics, and more
  • Evaluate new business opportunities from a strategic and financial vantage point
  • Assist with corporate development initiatives including both partnership and M&A opportunities spanning negotiations, financial, operational, and legal

We are currently hiring an Operations Manager to join the Collectors Vault team. This is a rare opportunity to help build out a completely new business unit inside of an established organization from day one. Collectors Vault is a high security storage service for collectibles, but beyond that it integrates the various business units at Collectors Universe to create a new platform for collecting. Collectors Vault represents the next generation of collecting, and will power a fundamentally different integrated experience for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles.

This individual will also need to be comfortable assuming the role of both player and coach, as necessary. This role spans three core pillars: 1) management and execution of all new venture operations, 2) operational process management, and 3) operations point of contact for cross-functional partners. What you’ll do:

  • You will be responsible for execution of all operations supporting the new venture, including managing a physical location and the operational team (~25 team members). 
  • Implement, track, manage, and evolve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new processes. As part of this you will partner with internal stakeholders on continuous improvement / kaizen for all SOPs.

We are looking for a Flip Print Coordinator to join the Flip Printing Team at PSA. You'll report to the Flip Print Supervisor and work at our office in Jersey City, NJ.

What You'll Do

  • Process & print the labels out for PSA submissions.
  • Maintains and helps keep the organization and flow in the sealing and grading department
  • Maintains that the printer is aligned for the labels
  • Responsible for keeping the orders organized and prepared for sealing

  • Handle delicate, sometimes high-value, collectibles with utmost care and attention.

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the Logistics Team at PSA. You'll report to the Logistics Assistant Manager and work at our office in Santa Ana, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Distribute incoming boxes for Unboxing and prep orders for Receiving.
  • Ensure complete support to internal customers (within Operations) to maximize department efficiencies.
  • Organize and sort orders in storage rooms based on turnaround times and service levels.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy using a systematic approach to scanning and organizing orders.
  • Work with the Logistics Supervisor and/or Logistics Planner Scheduler on unique day-to-day projects that arise.

We are seeking a Content Production Coordinator to join our PSA Marketing Team based in the Santa Office. 

PSA’s social media platforms are its most direct, day-to-day contact point with a growing customer base within the larger collecting hobby community. As our content marketing team grows, we are looking for a passionate collector to dive in immediately and produce as we continue to expand PSA’s footprint and impact in the digital space. As PSA aims to stay at the forefront of creative content in the collecting hobby, this individual will produce daily content that not only informs and educates, but also engages our customers, both current and prospective. This individual will have a strong knowledge of not just what is important, trending and emerging in the collecting hobby, but is a savvy content creator, who can produce content that works across multiple platforms, is relevant and is on-brand. This individual has their finger on the pulse of what type of content performs the best on each platform, and can execute and make concepts work across all platforms that remain on-brand for PSA. In one word, this individual will be versatile, and able to support not only the business, but our content efforts in many ways.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Create content of all types for PSA’s social and digital efforts. Examples include involvement in production and distribution of PSA podcasts, simple graphic assets, photo assets and short-form video assets for multiple social platforms.
  • Work in lockstep with PSA’s Social Media Coordinators to develop social media campaigns and promotions for PSA, utilizing creative content executions to elevate these campaigns that will be relevant to both the sports and TCG collecting marketplaces.
  • Work with Content Production Manager to help concept, develop and execute long-form video content with the goal of informing, educating and engaging PSA’s customer base, both current and prospective.

We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing.  At Collectors, product marketing is the connection between our customers and the services we provide - in both directions. We seek to understand our customers so we can leverage insights to innovate on their behalf, and we also teach our customers about the solutions we create to further their collecting. In this role, you will work at the intersection of Marketing, Product Management, and Sales.  You will leverage our understanding of the customer to influence the product development roadmap with a focus on innovation.  You will also be responsible for our go-to-market strategy - developing communication and digital activation plans that drive awareness and adoption for our new and existing products.

 You’ll report to the Vice President of Product Marketing and work from our Santa Ana, CA or Seattle, WA office. Remote candidates will also be considered.

We are currently hiring a Cataloguer, Fulfillment Operations to join the Collectors Vault team. This is a rare opportunity to help build out a completely new business unit inside of an established organization from day one. Collectors Vault is a high security storage service for collectibles, but beyond that it integrates the various business units at Collectors Universe to create a new platform for collecting. Collectors Vault represents the next generation of collecting, and will power a fundamentally different integrated experience for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles.

You will be required to be comfortable with ambiguity and have a bias for action while remaining customer focused with an extremely high standard of care. You will also be taking on multiple assignments and performing many duties as necessary to meet business expectations of the Fulfillment storage and fulfillment center. 

This role will report to the Supervisor of Fulfillment Operations and will work out of our Delaware facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform systematic, physical handling and inspection of collection objects, including taking precise dimensions, creating photo documentation, and transcribing inscriptions
  • Perform basic research related to collection objects
  • Organize, compile, and digitize source documents from curatorial and accession records relating to collection objects
  • Enter core cataloguing data in collections information management system, adhering to established standards and guidelines
  • Contribute to comprehensive subject tagging and relationships as outlined by best practice in cataloguing
  • Picking orders 
  • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (i.e.  pallet jack)

The Fulfillment Operations Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation including; order fulfillment, labor management, quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and materials procurement. The Supervisor of Fulfillment Operations will work cross-functionally with the business teams as they develop short and long-term growth strategies within this exciting new line of business. This role will report directly to the Manager, Fulfillment Operations and work out of our office in Delaware facility.

  • Plans production schedules based on CTD/FIFO Requirements; working closely with the Logistics Manager and Operations teams to ensure availability of materials and resources to meet production targets and delivery deadlines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

           

  • Inspects assembled parts and product for defects and deviations.
  • Counts and verifies that the product quantity matches the submission form.

We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Director of Total Rewards to join our HR team. Who You Are

  • 12+ years of HRBP or progressive HR experience in a high growth setting, with 5+ years leading HRBP or HR teams; strong preference for experience working in production-based or tech startup companies
  • Experience with M&A and global expansion a plus, as well as cross-cultural experience as a leader and coach to help integrate global employees
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational design and talent development across a variety of employee groups and functions (operations, corporate, engineering or product teams) 
  • Experience with policy implementation, and employee relations, as well as knowledge of staffing and compensation strategies, practices and processes

We’re looking for a Human Resources Information System Specialist to join our People Team to help manage, maintain, and troubleshoot our Workday HRIS system and assist end users with their needs. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor and join a brand new function within a fast growing People organization. 

The HRIS Specialist partners with the People Team Director, the HRIS Manager, and end users to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, as well as the main point of contact for headcount management. What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Do:

  • Open, separate, and itemize department’s mail by service type.
  • Match, count, and check items.
  • Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility.
  • Enter items and print stickers.
  • Contact Customers to resolve Problem Orders
  • Work with Sales Department for orders that have special deals and/or pricing.
  • Attend National Trade shows and represents company in a professional demeanor.

PSA and Collectors are currently looking for a Director of Sales to lead the day-to-day strategic management of the PSA Preferred Dealer Network, which is composed of auction houses, group submitters and dealers, and lead the PSA sales team both in the office and in the field. 

PSA prides itself on its relationship management and is looking for a seasoned sales leader who takes the time to understand and service the needs of the customer. Candidates must be personable, polished, well-organized, detail-oriented, analytical and have experience with developing and implementing sales incentive programs and sales training.  The position requires travel to trade shows, industry events and client offices. 

This position reports to the President of PSA and is based out of our Santa Ana, CA office.

What You'll Do

  • Direct company sales efforts to increase submissions and average sales price while maintaining senior level relationships with clients
  • Improve and maintain relationships with Preferred Dealers
  • Direct the PSA domestic sales staff
  • Develop and manage quarterly and annual sales incentive programs 
  • Facilitate the implementation of new sales tracking, management and marketing software
  • Ideate creative sales and marketing goals within the bounds of the collectible industry
  • Manage client relationships and formal communications
  • Direct the Results department manager and team. 
  • Work with the current Results Manager to set up long-term financial and customer service focused goals, as well as implement ways to track their progress and measure success.
  • Work with cross-functional leadership to ensure total customer satisfaction 

 Who You Are 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales/customer relations; collectibles industry experience preferred but not required 
  • Effective communicator and highly collaborative team player, both internally and externally, to resolve conflicts, solve problems and, most importantly, so we can deliver what is promised to the customer to maintain and generate business 
  • Ability to be knowledgeable and credible when speaking about our product and brand when presenting/communicating with customers and represent our company well
  • Demonstrated expertise in the collectibles market, continuously building upon the knowledge base of our product/market to generate sales (e.g. learning hobby lingo/terms, understanding market challenges, values of collectibles, etc.)
  • Experience with industry leading sales and marketing software platforms - having the ability to track sales and marketing via data intelligence
  • Organized and efficient is his/her sales approach since performance is based, in large part, on submissions and average sales price metrics
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in motivating and inspiring a team to hit aspirational targets
  • Some travel is required, up to but not limited to several times per month.  This may include car travel or cross-country plane travel or travel outside of the US

We’re looking for a motivated Security Officer to join our Security team to help protect Collector’s personnel, property, and profits through detection, deterrence, and denial of unauthorized individuals, all while maintaining a secure environment and preserving the integrity of the company’s facilities and reputation. Our Security vigilance protects Collectors from exposure, damage to reputation and theft.

 You’ll report to the Security Manager and work onsite from our Vault facility in New Castle, Delaware.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain a safe work environment for all personnel at Collectors - Vault
  • Secure premises by patrolling and monitoring outside activity for suspicious persons and vehicles via closed circuit monitors
  • Maintain authorized access by permitting entry and through CCTV surveillance with badge accessed door controls 
  • Open and secure the facility, make cursory checks and set appropriate alarms at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Complete reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities and reporting to local law enforcement (as needed)
  • Facilitate movement of valuables to/from Vault as needed

We’re looking for a Quality Inspector (Verifier 2) to join our V2 team to verify client request(s) for each individual order. Verifies quantity and quality of outgoing product.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspects assembled parts and product for defects and deviations.
  • Counts and verifies that the product quantity matches the submission form
  • Verifies that information on submission form matches the identifying sticker on outside of box.
  • Verifies that all information on PCGS flip matches the information on the coin.

Who You Are:

  • You have good problem-solving skills and show good judgment.
  • You have proficiency with computers and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, 10-key and effective internet searching.
  • You can communicate effectively either orally or by other means, email etc.
  • You have teamwork and able to work well with others.
  • You can prioritize and have knowledge of what needs to be done first.
  • You respect others and work well under pressure.
  • You can demonstrate accuracy while still maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • You follow instructions well and respond to management directions
