We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable team to apply customer payments to customer orders in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Critical skills include familiarity with accounts receivable processes, troubleshooting skills, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to interface effectively with operations and customer service departments.

You’ll report to the A/R and Collections Supervisor and work from our Santa Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply customer payments to their accounts accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare daily bank deposit by using a scanner and then posting to the appropriate customer order.
  • Process customer credit card payments in accordance with company policy.
  • Reconcile payments to ensure proper application.
  • Maintain files, including scanning documents to electronic files.
  • Troubleshoot problem orders and accounting holds.
  • Create, maintain/track, and close show order projects.
  • Resolve customer short payments by contacting the customer via email and phone.
  • Occasional travel required.

You’ll report to the Accounting Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA office headquarters (hybrid). After training is complete, a hybrid schedule will be an option.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and input standard monthly journal entries as well as assist with the month end closing process
  • Perform monthly analysis of departmental revenues and costs
  • Reconcile and Analyze G/L Accounts
  • Heavy financial analysis, comparison of actual to budget and to prior year, provide meaningful recap/explanation of variances to management
  • Prepare timely and comprehensive management analysis reports to allow for informed business decisions
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Help with software upgrade/implementation
  • File multi-state sales tax returns
  • Perform daily reconciliation of cash as required by the UCC
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis reports to management when requested

Who You Are:

  • BA or BS Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Understanding of GAAP accounting concepts and revenue recognition
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

PSA is seeking a card grader to authenticate and grade trading cards (sports and non-sports alike). Ideal candidate will possess comprehensive industry knowledge of trading cards, tickets and other sports collectibles, and be able to add experience and depth to PSA’s Grading Team. Individual should be detailed oriented, have good organization skills, and be able to focus on cards over long periods of time. Preferred applicant will have one to three years of grading experience as a professional, dealer or collector and the ability to work in a positive team environment.

Collectors is currently looking for a Japanese-Fluent Technical Writer to join the Training Department to translate and document various processes and create training materials for employees on those processes. You will be helping various departments communicate their standards through the translation and creation of robust documentation and training materials. You will work primarily alongside the other Technical Writers and Operations team at Collectors to learn the best practices of each department and clearly document these best practices so they may be shared with incoming employees, existing employees, and other departments. While documenting, you may suggest changes to improve training outcomes and process efficiency. Technical Writers have a major impact on process quality and employee confidence to properly execute those processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform the job successfully, the Japanese-Fluent Technical Writer should demonstrate the following: 

  • Ensure that the English training materials and supplemental documents are translated and maintained in Japanese
  • Work with a motivated team to translate and document processes and create training materials.
  • Assist the Technical Writers and Training Manager in researching and installing new training materials and supplies that will enhance our training procedures and provide value to our employees.
  • Assist the Technical Writers with maintaining the Japanese Training Resource Site and keep it up-to-date with current changes/improvements.

PSA is seeking a Customer Relations Representative. The position is focusing on responding and resolving customer concerns through the Customer Resource Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find an appropriate way to answer customers’ questions in a timely manner.  The individual will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills with at least 1 year of customer service experience.

You’ll report to the Customer Relations Manager and work from our Santa Ana, California office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Exercise discretion and exhibit sound judgment and decision-making when engaging with all parties internally and externally.
  • Collaborates with Operations and other departments to find appropriate solutions for customer responses
  • Provides accurate, valid, and complete information by using the department protocols to our customers
  • Resolves queries by clarifying the customer’s issue, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • Maintains accounts by processing customer adjustments
  • Continuously updates department spreadsheet of incoming orders
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate lead/supervisor

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • You will have at least 1 year of Customer Service experience
  • You will have strong problem-solving skills
  • You will have excellent communication skills

We’re looking for a PSA/DNA Operations Associate with a focus in DNA receiving. The right candidate will be primarily responsible for accurately itemizing packages, entering information into the designated system, creating specification numbers for each item in the NJ Woodbridge Office, and helping to manage incoming packages. This position will also require being trained and flexible in other areas needed in the NJ Woodbridge Office such as shipping, processing submissions, creating letters, inventory, customer service, and/or sealing. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle delicate and potentially high-value collectibles with the utmost care and attention.
  • Create package numbers for, scan, and sticker all incoming packages and keep all packages in order.

We’re looking for a NJ Operations Associate with a focus in DNA Processing. The perfect candidate will be primarily responsible for entering data for all autograph and OP submissions, printing labels, communicating directly with the Authentication staff about results, and verifying items to make sure submissions are processed correctly. This position will also require being trained and flexible in other areas needed in the NJ Woodbridge Office such as receiving, shipping, processing submissions, creating letters, inventory, customer service and/or sealing. 

What you’ll do:

  • Handle delicate and potentially high-value collectibles with the utmost care and attention.
  • Enter orders and/or results in designated programs (including Excel)
  • Work day-to-day with operations management and authentication team to process orders in a timely manner. 
  • Research signers and cards by means of company researching methods in order to enter item information accurately
  • Scan, photograph, and edit photographs of  memorabilia for authenticity letters and database. 
  • Keep Operations Manager and Sr. Operations Associate aware of all receiving system errors and/or issues 
  • Provide feedback regarding new processing procedures and new program deployments 
  • Scan and file all submission forms with data worksheets into storing program
  • Edit and print stickers for encapsulation submissions
  • Support authentication team in maintaining results in an organized workstation

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to help support our Chief Technology Officer. 

In this role you can expect to play a critical role within the Technology and Product organizations, performing a wide range of complex and confidential duties. This person will provide administrative and logistical support to the assigned Executives (the CTO and the VP of Product). This is a partnership with the Executive team that requires engagement at the business level, thoughtfulness, confidentiality, a bias towards action, and a passion for helping others. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), an ideal candidate will be local to our Jersey City office with a remote schedule (remote candidates will be considered).  This role will have optional travel benefits (approx. 1 week every 2 months).

What You’ll Do

  • Calendar coordination and logistics, which includes: scheduling meetings, creating agendas, preparing briefing materials, taking meeting notes, communicating action items
  • Plan travel arrangements, including providing detailed itineraries and submitting related expenses
  • Coordinate internal and external events, including organization wide meetings, conferences, and seminars
  • Make recommendations for the Executives regarding time management, prioritization, delegation, and organization, including proactive management of internal and external stakeholders’ requests for time
  • As business needs grow, be a key partner on driving special projects, which many include assisting with Google Docs and Microsoft Office products e.g. drafting presentations and working in Excel

The Workplace Manager is a key role at Collectors Universe HQ. You help support the connection, culture, and operational needs of our growing global team. We are hiring a Photographer to join the Collectors Vault team. In addition to being a high security storage service for collectibles, Collectors Vault integrates the various business units at Collectors to create a new platform for collecting. Collectors Vault represents the next generation of collecting, and will power a fundamentally superior experience for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles.

As a member of the photography team, you will be responsible for photographing the inventory that will be listed for sale online. Your primary goal is to photograph and edit in a high-paced work environment while being accurate and efficient to produce high quality work to meet tight deadlines. You will work independently and interdependently with the rest of the team and surrounding departments such as Inventory, Editorial, and Sales & Revenue to ensure the operation is completed properly. 

This role is based in New Castle, DE and reports to the Operations Manager. Training will be onsite in Runnemede, NJ for the first 3-4 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Photographing - Ensure all items are photographed and/or scanned using work instruction guide in priority order respective to the auction schedule. Taking proper care to ensure the integrity of all products - using gloves for jewelry, being careful when removing old documents, wiping down dust on frames, etc. Image files are to be coded by respective serial/ID number to ensure all items’ images are uploaded and archived accurately. 
  • Editing - Apply proper presets to all images to visually enhance image quality. Silhouette each background in Photoshop/Camera Raw and save all images as PSD and JPEG files. 
  • Uploading - All images are to be uploaded onto the admin website in a specific order to be synonymous with alike items. 
  • Archiving - All images (RAW and final) must be uploaded and archived in Google Drive for access to refer back if necessary. All final images will be saved onto your desktop and are to be archived to Google Drive once the auction has come to a close. All final images in Google Drive must be organized into the corresponding auction folder for our Creative and Content teams to use for promotions and social media. 

 

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of photography experience.
  • Must have 2+ years of Photoshop, Camera Raw, Lightroom and/or Bridge experience.
  • Must be able to work with multiple photography brand equipment i.e. Nikon and Canon cameras.
  • Ability to learn and utilize other third party photography software.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work interdependently with team members and independently for individual work.

Who You Are:

We are hiring a Photographer to join the Collectors Vault team. In addition to being a high security storage service for collectibles, Collectors Vault integrates the various business units at Collectors to create a new platform for collecting. Collectors Vault represents the next generation of collecting, and will power a fundamentally superior experience for storing, securing, authenticating, grading, buying, and selling collectibles.

As a member of the photography team, you will be responsible for photographing the inventory that will be listed for sale online. Your primary goal is to photograph and edit in a high-paced work environment while being accurate and efficient to produce high quality work to meet tight deadlines. You will work independently and interdependently with the rest of the team and surrounding departments such as Inventory, Editorial, and Sales & Revenue to ensure the operation is completed properly. 

This role is based in New Castle, DE and reports to the Operations Manager. Training will be onsite in Runnemede, NJ for the first 3-4 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Photographing - Ensure all items are photographed and/or scanned using work instruction guide in priority order respective to the auction schedule. Taking proper care to ensure the integrity of all products - using gloves for jewelry, being careful when removing old documents, wiping down dust on frames, etc. Image files are to be coded by respective serial/ID number to ensure all items’ images are uploaded and archived accurately. 
  • Editing - Apply proper presets to all images to visually enhance image quality. Silhouette each background in Photoshop/Camera Raw and save all images as PSD and JPEG files. 
  • Uploading - All images are to be uploaded onto the admin website in a specific order to be synonymous with alike items. 
  • Archiving - All images (RAW and final) must be uploaded and archived in Google Drive for access to refer back if necessary. All final images will be saved onto your desktop and are to be archived to Google Drive once the auction has come to a close. All final images in Google Drive must be organized into the corresponding auction folder for our Creative and Content teams to use for promotions and social media. 

 

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of photography experience.
  • Must have 2+ years of Photoshop, Camera Raw, Lightroom and/or Bridge experience.
  • Must be able to work with multiple photography brand equipment i.e. Nikon and Canon cameras.
  • Ability to learn and utilize other third party photography software.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.

We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Director of Total Rewards to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Collector's compensation, equity, and benefits programs and communication with an emphasis on increasing employee understanding and engagement while maintaining internal equity and external market competitiveness. In this role, you will oversee processes and projects related to total rewards and partner closely with Leadership to ensure that all programs support our business objectives . As the first person in this new role, you’ll have the opportunity to build our compensation philosophy and framework to support our growing organization.

This role can be located at our Headquarters in Santa Ana, California or the NJ/NY area. 

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $$154,545 - $240,455. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

 What You’ll Do

  • Be a trusted strategic partner to the leadership team by using professional credibility and strong relationships with executives to influence key priorities on organizational issues that help the company and our employees grow
  • Lead complex initiatives with significant impact to supporting organization-wide needs. Initiatives include: employee experience and retention, talent assessment, succession planning, organizational design, company culture, employee relations, and leadership development
  • Act as a change-agent as the business continues to reshape itself with a goal of providing a world class stakeholder and employee experience
  • Strengthen the executive team of each function by providing coaching and development to leadership
  • Promote HR strategies that align with the business go to market strategy focusing on the talent needed to execute on the vision
  • Leverage strong program management skills to collaborate with the HR team to roll out various talent and people programs across the organization (compensation review, feedback cycles, engagement surveys and development programs, etc.)
  • Drive results through executive development, succession planning, career development, skills gap analysis, etc.
  • Analyze and assess organizational "health" by looking at trends in performance, employee satisfaction, attrition, diversity, etc.
  • Structure, build and lead the HRBP function, determining resources required to support the organization and aligning resources to business priorities

Who You Are

  • 12+ years of HRBP or progressive HR experience in a high growth setting, with 5+ years leading HRBP or HR teams; strong preference for experience working in production-based or tech startup companies
  • Experience with M&A and global expansion a plus, as well as cross-cultural experience as a leader and coach to help integrate global employees
  • Demonstrated experience with organizational design and talent development across a variety of employee groups and functions (operations, corporate, engineering or product teams) 
  • Experience with policy implementation, and employee relations, as well as knowledge of staffing and compensation strategies, practices and processes
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented HR leader, with an ability to drive projects through partnerships with senior management and across HR and Talent functions
  • Demonstrated track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse client groups to drive major initiatives through the organization and influence decision makers
  • Demonstrated success in taking a data driven approach to develop innovative solutions that balance the business strategy and employee needs

The Human Resources Business Partner is a vital member of the Santa Ana leadership team, helping to define, elevate, and scale the role of human resources across the company. This role will have the primary responsibility of leading the development and execution of the HR strategy of the PSA, PSA/DNA, PCGS Ops and Continuous Improvement teams. The Human Resources Business Partner will be expected to have business acumen, and HR subject matter expertise with a focus on employee relations, people development, performance management, organizational design, retention, engagement, equity and inclusion, and people management across the organization. Leveraging influencing skills, this role will drive talent and headcount processes working with the Business Leaders. The ideal candidate loves to build, thrives in ambiguity, is flexible and adaptable to change, moves quickly, and can demonstrate strong communication skills to deliver messages across all levels of the organization. This is an opportunity to join our organization in the beginning stages of solidifying our HRBP within the People organization while getting to manage and drive high impact people strategies in the fast growing collectibles space.

What You’ll Do
