We’re looking for a Cash Applications Clerk to join our Accounts Receivable and Collections team to apply customer payments to customer orders in a high volume, fast-paced environment. Critical skills include familiarity with accounts receivable processes, troubleshooting skills, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to interface effectively with operations and customer service departments.

You’ll report to the A/R and Collections Supervisor and work from our Sana Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Apply customer payments to their accounts accurately and in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare daily bank deposit by using a scanner and then posting to the appropriate customer order.
  • Process customer credit card payments in accordance with company policy.
  • Reconcile payments to ensure proper application.
  • Maintain files, including scanning documents to electronic files.
  • Troubleshoot problem orders and accounting holds.
  • Create, maintain/track, and close show order projects.
  • Resolve customer short payments by contacting the customer via email and phone.
  • Occasional travel required.

Who You Are:

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Organized and solution-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
  • A proven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Clean break room counter, tables, chairs and stock utensils paper towels
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Empty all trash containers
- Dust office areas
- Monitor/Reorder cleaning supplies

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, each Custodian should demonstrate the following:

- Attention to detail
- Evaluate supplies for timely reordering

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for periods up to 8 hours per day

Education and/or Experience – Custodial experience preferred but not required.

Summary

The Facilities Warehouse Technician will assist the company with maintaining an organized, functional, and secure warehouse and building. The position is based in Santa Ana, CA.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Receive deliveries from suppliers
  • Move inventory both within warehouse and to production floor
  • Driving to/from multiple warehouses and production locations
  • Organization/cleaning of the warehouse
  • Assist existing staff to perform various building repairs, handy work, and maintenance, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating/cooling, ventilation, painting, custodial, and general tasks.
  • Coordinate with outside services to complete onsite repairs, maintenance, and janitorial tasks; including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, pest control services, among others.
  • Monitor progress of ongoing facility-related projects and repairs.
  • Assist with receiving and delivering packages to various departments.
  • Move boxes, pallets, equipment, and other items as needed.
  • Assemble, install, and move furniture, including storage racks.

PSA is seeking a Customer Relations Representative to respond to and resolve customer concerns through the Customer Resource Center. We are seeking a collaborative and results-oriented Director of Total Rewards to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for Collector Universe’s compensation, equity, and benefits programs and communication with an emphasis on increasing employee understanding and engagement while maintaining internal equity and external market competitiveness. In this role, you will oversee processes and projects related to total rewards and partner closely with CU Leadership to ensure that all programs support our business objectives . As the first person in this new role, you’ll have the opportunity to build our compensation philosophy and framework to support our growing organization.

This role is based out of Santa Ana, California. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide leadership and direction to evaluate, modify and maintain CU’s Total Rewards offerings to ensure a competitive compensation, equity, and benefits strategy
  • Create our compensation philosophy and design a Total Rewards program in alignment with the company’s objectives, initiatives and budget guidelines  
  • Ensure that the administration, budgeting, and communication of programs are well executed and contribute to a positive employee experience
  • Manage Stock Plan Administration to ensure that all equity-based transactions are conducted efficiently and correctly, including stock grants & vesting, exercise of stock grants and accurate accounting of stock activity
  • Own our compensation market data and lead survey submissions
  • Collaborate with HRIS Manager to implement compensation modules in our HRIS, Workday
  • Partner with the Finance team to ensure that appropriate financial controls are in place for all merit-based and incentive-based compensation programs, as well as for evaluating and analyzing cost implications of current and proposed plans
  • Ensure high quality data management through internal controls and audits

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years experience in Compensation, Equity Administration, and Benefits
  • Demonstrated experience in managing Total Rewards processes and programs
  • Expertise in policy design and understanding of all pertinent regulations
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of all aspects of administering equity based programs, including accounting, tax and legal implications
  • Strong and proven people manager

Collectors Universe is seeking our first HRIS Manager to manage HR data and systems. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to configure, implement, and manage a new HRIS (Workday) to meet the needs of our growing organization. The ideal candidate has implemented Workday at a fast-growing organization and can use HR data and systems to enable business objectives. 

This role will report into the Director of Human Resources and be based out of our Santa Ana, California office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as primary HRIS system admin and subject matter expert, including ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Manage all of CU’s HR data and serve as administrator for current and future HR systems including HRIS (Workday), and payroll/benefits platform (ADP)
  • Partner with internal teams, including HR, IT, and Finance, as well as third-party vendors and consultants to implement and maintain Workday
  • Collaborate with business leaders to determine reporting needs and deliver data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • Manage employee-facing communications, training, and change management related to the HRIS, serving as the employee point of contact 
  • Define and manage system security standards, ensuring appropriate and proper levels of access and reporting capabilities for all users
  • Ensure we are fully leveraging its HRIS to meet business and talent needs by continuously identifying and implementing improvements in business processes, integrations, and user experience
  • Partner with Integration Engineer to maintain and optimize integrations with our other HR systems, including Greenhouse and ADP

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR data and systems
  • Advanced knowledge of implementing and managing Workday, including configuring business processes and integrations

We're looking for an Operations Associate with a focus in receiving for our PSA/DNA Division. You will primarily itemize packages, enter the information into the designated system, create specification numbers for each item in the NJ Office, and help to manage incoming packages. This position will also require you to be trained and flexible in other areas such as shipping, processing submissions, creating letters, inventory, customer service, and/or sealing.

You’ll report to The Operations Manager and work from our Woodbridge, New Jersey Office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle delicate, sometimes high-value, collectibles with the utmost care and attention
  • Create package numbers for all incoming packages and keep all packages in order
  • Organize receiving shelf and submissions based on shipping dates, shows, and priorities
  • Open, separate, count, and check items in each submission
  • Verify service type with payment and verify its eligibility
  • Identify and classify items correctly
  • Enter items into grading system
  • Arrange received submissions on the To Be Authenticated shelf to aid authenticators and processors with the authentication process
  • Create show total excel spreadsheets for all take-home and show submissions
  • Place identifying stickers on all submissions
  • Work with Sales Department for orders that have special deals and/or pricing
  • Maintain color sticker inventory
  • Make sure all received submission forms are scanned into NAV and filed accordingly
  • Research signers and cards by means of trade magazines, books, and the internet in order to enter item information accurately
  • Keep Operations Manager and Sr. Ops Associate aware of all receiving system errors and/or issues and provides feedback regarding procedures and new program deployments
  • Contact customers via email, mail and phone to quickly resolve problem orders
  • Help business specialist organize, manifest, and ship PSA submissions on a weekly basis (when services are offered)

Summary

The Purchasing Coordinator will assist the purchasing department by entering data into our PO system, receive documents and check inventory levels of non-inventory items.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Track non-inventoried supplies.

Education and/or Experience:

B.S. or B.A. degree in history or related field preferred; 1 to 3 years of experience in history or research. This field requires a firsthand knowledge of all types of sports cards, non-sports cards, event tickets and packs.

Language Skills:

Must be able to speak, read, write and correspond with co-workers and supervisors in person and via email.

Reasoning Ability:

The PSA Results Department is looking to bring on a Pricing Results Specialist to review and adjust customer-selected submission service levels on PSA orders to accurately reflect true market values.

This position reports to the Pricing Specialist Manager, and you will work at our office in Santa Ana, CA.

What You'll Do: 

  • Review customer orders for service level accuracy based on card market values
  • Make necessary adjustments to submission prices on an itemized, line-by-line basis
  • Stay current on trading card and related collectibles pricing by reviewing trade pricing publications, auction results and other credible resources

Summary:

The Officer will protect Collector’s Universe personnel, property, and profits through detection, deterrence, and denial of unauthorized individuals, all while maintaining a secure environment and preserving the integrity of the company’s facilities and reputation. Our Security vigilance protects from exposure, damage to reputation and theft.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather trash from dedicated locations
• Move trash to scanning room
• Scan each bag/bin individually before throwing into compactor/dumpster
• Empty bins with cardboard into dumpster/compactor
• Cursory check of cardboard while emptying hampers
• Check blue boxes
• Put blue boxes into cardboard boxes after checking
• Put cardboard boxes of blue boxes in designated locations
• Account for all items found while scanning discarded packaging
• Give found items to Security Lead for further investigation
• Patrol building (interior/exterior)
• Assist with shipping department audit scan
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Graduate

Computer skills:

Basic knowledge of computers, Word, Excel

Physical demands:

Must be able to handle, move, carry, lift, pull, and push boxes 65-70 lbs or more, to load, transport and unload. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is also required to stand, walk, sit, crouch and bend.

We’re looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping team to Verify, package and ship all outgoing packages for sports cards and coin submissions.

You’ll report to the Shipping Manager and work from our Sana Ana, CA office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Sort all orders by return carrier service.
  • Verify order correctness and completeness.
  • Package orders in mailing box containers, seal with tape and attach outside label.
  • Process shipping for specified return carrier and close order.

Buildout project and office move experience is very important.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a best-in-class work environment for Collectors employees and guests
  • Directly oversee a medium scale buildout project (120k SF) at HQ, manage internal and external stakeholders, and report on schedule and budget
  • Own company-communications, keep all employees informed of workplace changes, projects, moves, etc.
  • Develop and roll out new workplace processes, policies, systems
