1938 International Gum Don't Let It Happen Here

International Gum’s Don’t Let It Happen Over Here set consists of 24 cards, with each card front offering a color depiction of the atrocities taking place in Europe in the days leading up to World War II. Card backs feature a block of text detailing the event on the opposite side, along with a copyright date and card number. Unfortunately, the set competed for young customers with Bowman’s Horrors of War issue released the same year. With sales suppressed by the overwhelming competition, very few of International Chewing Gum's Don't Let It Happen Over Here cards have survived, particularly in higher grade.
