1989 Topps Traded

This was the first year that Topps produced a Traded set in football cards, after many years of issuing a similar baseball product. The cards were released as a 132-card boxed set, and are differentiated from the regular issue by the bright stock on the back, and the “T” used in the numbering system. This set contains Traded rookie cards of hall of fame members, Barry Sanders, Troy Aikman, Deion Sanders and Derrick Thomas.
