The 1965 Topps CFL football set consists of 132 cards measuring the standard 2-1/2" by 3-1/2". The set highlights players from the Canadian Football League grouped by team including the British Columbia Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Eskimos, Hamilton Tiger Cats, Montreal Allouettes, Ottawa Rough Riders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The front images shows a player in-action or portrait style against multicolor pastel backgrounds with his name, position and team. Each back gives a brief paragraph highlighting his career and/or previous season printed in black on an orange background. Beside the player bio is a cartoon with a short blurb or statistic. The backs are printed in both English and French. Jim Kapp (#12), Jim Stinnette (#42), Art Baker (#45) and Dave Mann (#107) can also be found in AFL or NFL cards.
