The 1980 Topps Baseball set consists of 726 cards, each measuring 2-1/2" by 3-1/2”. A color photo dominates each card, with the player’s name printed at the top border and his team and position identified within a pennant-like logo. A facsimile signature graces each piece. The set is anchored by Hall of Famers Carlton Fisk (#40), Gary Carter (#70), Johnny Bench (#100), Eddie Murray (#160), Ozzie Smith (#393), George Brett (#450) and Reggie Jackson (#600), and by the rookie card of Rickey Henderson (#482). Henderson’s card also misidentifies a minor league affiliation. Subsets include highlights (#s 1-6) and league leaders (#201-207).
