1962 Post Cereal - Canadian

The 1962 Post Cereal - Canadian baseball set consists of 200 cards that were cut from the backs of cereal boxes. Each card measures 3-1/2" by 2-1/2", printed horizontally, with the player's personal information printed in black in both French and English next to a small posed photograph of the player. The front also shows the Post Cereal logo (in the upper-left corner), the player's name, card number and a grid bearing his previous year's and lifetime statistics. The Canadian version is much rarer due to limited distribution in the Great White North and holds even scarcer examples of a number of player. Whitey Ford appears twice with one error card and a much rarer corrected card. Some cereal brands featured perforation creating various cards that show perforation marks.
