1951 Topps Teams

The 1951 Topps Teams is comprised of nine cards, each one measuring 5-1/4” by 2-1/16”. Card fronts carry a black-and-white team portrait with a yellow border, while the white reverse lists team members in red ink. The scarce and fragile 1951 Topps Teams cards are distinguished by the presence or absence of a year notation—"1950"—incorporated as a prefix into the items' caption designs. The Boston Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants, Philadelphia Athletics, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, and Washington Senators make up the complete set. Though each card offers its challenges in finding in nearly any grade, the Boston and St. Louis team cards are especially uncommon.
