1936 R312

The 1936 R312 baseball set consists of 50 cards measuring 4" by 5-3/8". These ultra-thin, unnumbered cards display either single player posed photographs or multiplayer in-action shots taken in black-and-white but later touched with pastel coloring. The large images are surrounded by an approximately 1/8" border and also show a facsimile player signature at the bottom of the image. The blank-backed set has 25 single players, 14 multiplayer cards and 11 in-action examples. Hall of Fame talent are among the more sought after like Kiki Cuyler, Kiki Cuyler/Tris Speaker/Danny Taylor, Jimmey Foxx/Luke Sewell, Lefty Grove/Connie Mack, Roger Hornsby (Rogers), Floyd Vaughan/Hans Wagner, L. Waner/P. Waner/Big Jim Weaver. John Thomas Allen is also one of the more scarce cards in the set.
