1936 National Chicle Fine Pens
This set of 120 "cards" is referred to as "fine pen" to differentiate it from the 1936-37 Goudey "wide pen" set of a similar design. Each black-and-white card measures 3-1/4? x 5-3/8? and has a thin, white border. Most have a script-type signature, but a handful feature different fonts. The cards are actually more like photos, as they are blank-backed and printed on very thin stock. Most of the cards are inexpensive with the exception of Joe DiMaggio, which is considered to be a rookie card of sorts.
