Adam Comorosky

Adam Anthony Comorosky (December 9, 1905 - March 2, 1951) played four seasons alongside Hall of Famers Lloyd and Paul Waner in the Pittsburgh Pirates outfield. Adam played ten seasons in the Majors with the Pittsburgh Pirates (1926-1933) and the Cincinnati Reds (1934-1935). Twice in his career as a Pirate, Comorosky batted over .300 and in 1930 he led the National League in triples. His best year was that 1930 season when he batted .315 with 187 hits including 23 triples and 12 home runs, adding 112 runs and 119 RBI and swiping 14 bases. No slouch in the field, Comorosky retired with a .972 fielding percentage with 1,660 putouts in 1,747 chances. Adam Comorosky finished his career with 795 hits, 404 runs, 417 RBI, 57 stolen bases and a .285 career batting average.
