The 1910 W555 baseball set consists of 66 relatively scarce cards (though more may exist), including eight that are highly sought after as well as the very rare Eddie Cicotte card. These cards were hand-cut from the box-tops of the Jay S Meyer Company, confectioners from Philadelphia. Each card measures 1-1/8" by 1-3/16" with a grainy, sepia-toned image of a player on the front with his surname, team and league printed within the singular bottom border. This set seems related to contemporary candy sets like the E93, E94, E97 and E98 given the similar styles and images. The most desirable of this set include:Ty Cobb, Christy Mathewson, Honus Wagner and Cy Young as well as many others of Hall of Fame stature.
