Lauren "Laddie" Gale (April 22, 1917—July 29, 1996) was a forward at Oregon and led the team in scoring in 1938 and 1939. He guided the Ducks to their first-ever Division I men's basketball tournament national championship in 1939. He played professionally for the Detroit Eagles of the National Basketball League in 1939 and 1940, before being drafted to fight in World War II.
