Over 30 Million Ungraded Cards Have a New Hobby Highway
SANTA ANA, CA (July 21, 2023) — PSA has integrated with COMC, a leading hobby marketplace for ungraded trading cards, to offer a streamlined submission service. As of July 21, COMC customers can instantly designate new and existing raw card pickups for PSA grading and authentication. This new partnership has the makings of a landmark as COMC’s inventory of over 30 million ungraded cards now has an inside track to PSA, the industry’s largest third party authenticator.
A game-changer, the streamlined COMC grading journey breezes collectors past usual submission steps and print-and-ship prepwork. From the point-of-purchase or within existing accounts, COMC customers have the option to submit ungraded cards while selecting from a variety of PSA’s more popular standard service levels. Under this newly announced integration, COMC will then migrate card details, prepare cards for grading, handle shipping logistics, and relay order-tracking updates directly within the COMC platform on behalf of customers.

“For years, one of our most frequent customer requests has been to offer direct-to-PSA grading, and I’m excited to announce this feature as a huge advancement for COMC’s mission of optimizing joy for collectors,” said COMC CEO Tim Getsch. “Full-service PSA grading is big for the COMC community, and I’m looking forward to this partnership’s continued evolution.”
Once the PSA authentication process is completed, newly-graded cards return to COMC accounts where collectors can vault, sell, or ship to the home showcase. As the expedited grading process begins and ends on the COMC platform, pricing is set by COMC and grading promotions offered by PSA are currently not applicable.
“It’s an ideal pairing for collectors — especially those who’d prefer to outsource the logistics or submit a few cards on a whim,” added PSA President Ryan Hoge. “PSA enjoys many hobby relationships, but only COMC brings such an ocean of ungraded cards to explore. We can’t wait to see what new gems will surface.”
