Clean Sweep's current auction is their unique to the industry affordable all sports autograph, card and memorabilia auction. Nearly all of the items have a retail value of $500 or less, low minimum bids and no reserves.
You'll find a loaded auction for this style with over 2,200 lots. The auction takes place over two days,day one is all about baseball autographs and memorabilia, day two has baseball cards and items from all of the other major sports. Baseball autographs include nice runs of Perez Steeles, Yellow HOF Plaques and many fine signed 8x10 and other photos. They have an extensive selection of scarce signatures going back to the 19th century with some rarities. There are interesting signed letters, team sheets, programs and so much more in this section. Collectors of signed baseballs will see many spotless singles from HOFers and deceased players and many nice little group lots that offer outstanding values. You'll also see some very nice multi and team signed balls to close out this category.
This auction has one of their deepest offerings ever of baseball memorabilia. It begins with a terrific run of fine black bats from a single owner and a quality run of vintage photos dating back to the 19th century with some potentially significant content. Baseball memorabilia continues with a good selection of vintage pins, especially from the 1940a and 1950s, some neat tickets including a 1941 World Series Game 3 full ticket and a 1962 Mets first game ticket and just a fun assortment of all sorts of baseball memorabilia chron- icling the 20th century; pennants and pubs nicely close our the first day of the auction, with fresh content.
Day two starts with baseball cards. We have sets and lots in clean condition ranging from the 1960s to the current era. There is a solid selection of unopened material and cards ranging from the 1940s to the current day. Highlights here include a run of 1947 Signal Oil Seattle Rainiers cards, many key HOFers from the 1960s in collector grade and a large offering of cards to the current day.
Basketball comes next, with some key 1961-2 Fleer cards, a world of stars from the 1970s to 2020, unopened boxes, vintage programs, tickets and signed photos and programs.
Football is always a vital portion of these auction. Our offerings include cards going back to the 1930s, including a very clean run of 1952 Bowman Small football, sets and singles from the
1960s through the 2020 era and many unopened items.
Football autograph collectors will see some tougher signed cards, a deep offering of signed footballs from two collections, many HOFer signed jerseys, large prints and helmets. This auction closes out football with some interesting memorabilia, including a fine collection of Chicago Bears tickets and field passes dating back to the 1940s and more.
The other sports close out the auction, with note to some nice vintage golf cards and a desirable run of key early Tiger Woods PSA-slabbed tickets. Hockey collectors will see cards
going back to 1959, a run of better signed pucks, and other items.
