For the third time in as many years, Collectors Holdings, the parent company of Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) and Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), is expanding the operational footprint at its 1600/1610 St. Andrew Place headquarters in Santa Ana, California.

This week, Collectors announced that it signed a new, 15-year lease at its current location and is taking hold of another 102,000 square feet of office space within the vibrant Pacific Center. The Collectors organization, including WATA, which authenticates and grades video games and recently relocated from Denver, will now occupy 286,636 square feet in all.

"This is a direct reflection of our commitment to our customers and the hobby,” said Collectors CEO Nat Turner. “We continue to grow and add capacity to improve our operational efforts on every front.”

Mike West, who serves as Chief Operating Officer at Collectors, added: “This further expansion provides us with a more organized and efficient operation for all of our business lines. This will translate to an employee-centric work environment where staff members can perform at their very best.”

Collectors officials expect to complete the buildout and move different departments into place by the end of 2023. In addition, this past March, the company announced the signing of a long-term lease for 130,000 square feet of office space in Jersey City, NJ. That space, which remains partly under construction, now has a small team of PSA staffers in place who have increased the company’s East Coast presence. But the expansion doesn't stop there. Collectors also opened a satellite office in Seattle this past year and, since 2018, has had a busy office in Tokyo, Japan, which plans to open full grading operations by July 2023.

As the world's largest third-party authentication and grading company, the continued expansion of Collectors is reflective of the ongoing collectibles boom. Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, all divisions of the company have enjoyed record numbers in submissions of trading cards, tickets, autographs, professional model bats, coins, paper currency and now video games.
