About All Sports Auctions
Andy Sandler has been actively involved in the Sports Card and Memorabilia hobby since 1973 when he had dealer tables at the old southern California Sports Collectors Club where tables were $1 and the “dealers” were all collectors. Andy has been a consultant to Sports Card and Memorabilia price guides, a writer in various hobby publications, and sports collecting expert on all topics on numerous television and radio programs. In addition, Andy ran Teletrade Sports Auctions from its early beginnings until its successful sale. At the time of its sale, Teletrade sold almost 5000 lots of sports cards and memorabilia a week. Sales were over $10 million per year and the company was profitable every year. Today, Andy still collects with a focus on Pre-1950 Pro Basketball items going back to the 1890’s. Through the years he has collected, at various times, all the different items the hobby has to offer and maintains the knowledge of each.
