Auction Closes $13.4 Million in Total Sales with Record-Breaking Prices for Chamberlain, Pokémon & Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy Cards, Among Others

RUNNEMEDE, NJ, APRIL 25, 2021 –Goldin Auctions, the leading marketplace for collectibles and trading cards. The premium trading card auction closed $13.4 million in total sales.

The April auction broke several other records, including the all-time high for anyWilt Chamberlain card, which sold for $461,250.

Additional marquee items included a signed Tom Brady 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Rookie Ticket card that fetched $1.72 million, a Wayne Gretzky rookie card that sold for $248,460 and an autographed 2014 Topps Allen & Ginter card featuringBarstool Sports founder David Portnoy that sold for $14,760. The auction also included aPokémon card portraying Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president of The Pokémon Company, that sold for $247,230.
