Jim Doyle’s Autograph Amassment
Like most collectors, Jim Doyle started with baseball cards. Over time, Doyle started to gravitate towards autographs since he loved the idea of the personal touch each item offered. In the following article, we take an in-depth look into Doyle’s vast autograph collection, from Hall of Fame Plaque postcards to Perez-Steele beauties. The stars are here.

A Classic Cooperstown Set – Collecting Signed 1980-2001 Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Postcards
Renowned artist Dick Perez is responsible for some of the most attractive autograph mediums ever created for our hobby. His artwork is the centerpiece of a few noteworthy card productions, ones that are still very popular today. The 1980-2001 Perez-Steele Hall of Fame Postcards set is one of those colorful productions that showcases each autograph in style.

Collecting the 1909 Ramly Cigarettes (T204) Baseball Card Set – A "Golden" Example of Vintage Design
When you review most baseball card issues from the early 20th century, most of the attention still goes to the mainstream sets such as The Monster, the ever-popular T206 production. While that may be true, there are other issues that are arguably more beautiful and indisputably more difficult, like the ornate T204 Ramly set. The challenge awaits.
