1941 Double Players   The 1941 Double Play Baseball: Double the Players; Double the Fun!
The 1941 Double Play baseball set is one that is often overshadowed by the Play Ball issue from the same year, but collectors have found plenty of reasons to start giving these dual-player cards some attention. Baltimore Colts Are World Champions!!! - The #1 Current Finest 1958 Topps Football Set
The 1950s was a great decade for football cards and this set, while not quite as popular as classic issues like the 1952 Bowman Large or 1957 Topps, is no exception. Home to one of the most important cards in all of sports collecting -- the Jim Brown rookie -- this 133-card set has always been popular. The cards are also subject to condition obstacles like print defects and poor registration. In addition to the Brown rookie, the set also includes a HOF rookie of Sonny Jurgenson and a very important second year card of Johnny Unitas. With a GPA of 8.55, this is the finest complete set ever registered with PSA and deserving of recognition in 2010. Click here for a look.

Question: Which type of writing instrument is preferred most by autograph collectors, pen or pencil?

Answer: From an eye-appeal standpoint, collectors tend to like pens versus pencils since pens can generate a much darker and bolder signature. Pencil, however, does have some advantages. Autographs signed with pens can be subject to bleeding or fading much more so than with pencil signatures, which seem to hold up very well over time. It is best to talk to experienced collectors to see which writing instruments work best on different collectibles. For example, ballpoint pens are preferred on baseballs versus markers since markers tend to bleed into the leather.
