1960 Leaf Baseball 1960 Leaf Baseball: Plain Vanilla
The 1960 Leaf baseball set, which contains 144 cards, is one that has been largely overlooked by hobbyists. It may not be filled with tons of Hall of Famers or be considered a mainstream issue like Topps but it does offer some challenging variations and a relatively affordable price tag. In the following article, we explore what this unique issue has to offer. More...

Joe Orlando Style Versus Substance
The style versus substance issue is one that appears in everyday life and the hobby. There are athletes that attempt to compensate for a lack of performance with over-the-top style and those who perform at an extremely high level in a somewhat boring, workmanlike manner. The question is how does style, or a lack thereof, affect the appeal of one's collectibles? In the following article, Joe Orlando explains that style does matter. More...

RB Collection - The Number One Current Finest 1963 Fleer Baseball Set
The 1963 Fleer set, while smaller in size than its 1960s Topps counterparts, is one of the more important issues of the decade. The 67-card set, which showcases a very attractive design, is filled with many of the brightest stars of the period. This list includes Roberto Clemente, Sandy Koufax, and Willie Mays amongst others, in addition to the tough Joe Adcock short print and checklist, which is considered the most valuable card in the set in PSA NM-MT 8 or Mint 9 quality. This incredible collection boasts a GPA of 9.48 and it is, by far, the best set ever registered in the category. Click here for a look.

Question: Is there is a difference in value between Presidential autographs signed while in office versus before or after their term?

Answer: Yes, generally speaking, most collectors of historical autographs prefer examples that can be positively identified as ones signed while in office versus non-term autographs. In some cases, it may be difficult to prove but, in others, the autographs may appear on an official government document or be dated during the terms, which makes them more desirable.

Which of the following star players, currently playing in the postseason, has the best chance of being enshrined in the baseball Hall of Fame?

  1. Vladimir Guerrero
  2. Jorge Posada
  3. Mariano Rivera
  4. Jim Thome
