The first of the modern-day sized Baseball cards is still the best looking one in my opinion. No distracting colors or logos, just great-looking photos of the players. And what a great group of players...Mickey, Mays, Aaron, Koufax, both Robbys and at #1, none other than Ted Williams. Some very low population cards in the mid-series makes it a tough set to put together, but it's sure worth going for it.

This set was completed, fittingly, in June 2007, the 50th anniversary year of its issue. At the time of completion it was the #1 ranked set with a GPA of 8.77. It will always be my favorite set of all time! I dedicate it to the memory of my Dad who truly made me what I am today.
