Cards and Tickets PSA Grades


PSA grades most cards that are catalogued in major sportscard publications, including the Sports Market Report (SMR), and the Beckett Review. The following is a list by category.

Baseball
  • All regular issue, regular size, post-war cards manufactured by Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Donruss, Leaf, Score, Upper Deck, etc.
  • Off-size issues: 1951 Topps Red & Blue backs, 1955 Topps Double Headers and 1975 Topps Minis, Topps Micros, 1964 Topps Giants, and 1953 Brown & Bigelow.
  • Pre-war gum and candy cards manufactured by Cracker Jack (1914 -1915), U.S. Caramel (1932), DeLong (1933), Diamond Stars (1934 -36), Goudey (1933 -41), and Playball (1939 - 1941).
  • All Redman Tobacco cards (1952-1955).
  • Tobacco cards: T200, T-201, T-202, T205, T-206, T-207, T3, M-116, N28, N29.
  • Baseball Exhibit cards.
  • Star (only Star Baseball & 1996 Star Topps (reprint) Basketball).
Minor League Cards
  • Minor League cards that are regular issue, regular size, post-war cards manufactured by TCMA, Pro Cards, Best, Fleer, Classic, Grandstand, Just, Multi-Ad, Skybox, Upper Deck, Signature Rookies, team issued sets and all other minor leagues in major catalogues.
Football
  • All regular issue regular size, post-war cards manufactured by Topps, Leaf, Bowman, Philadelphia, Fleer, SAGE, Jogo CFL, etc.
  • 1935 National Chicle and 1894 Mayo.
  • Off-size issues: 1965 Topps.
Basketball
  • All regular issue, regular size, post-war cards.
  • Topps, Bowman, Fleer, WNBA, etc.
  • Off-size issues: 1969/70, 1970/71, 1976/77 Topps and 1972/73 Icee Bear, '85 Nike.
  • Star 1996 Star Topps (reprint) Basketball.
Hockey
  • All regular issue, regular size, post-war cards manufactured by Topps, Parkhurst, etc.
  • Off-size issues: 1965 Topps and ESSO.
  • Minor junior cards, IHL, WHA team issues.
Foreign
  • All regular issue, regular size cards manufactured by Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Donruss, Leaf; Score, Upper Deck, etc.
  • Japanese: Menko, Calbee, BBM, Panini Sticker and Fournier Estrellas, Takara, Future Bee.
Nonsports Cards
  • All regular issue, regular size, post-war cards manufactured by Topps, Bowman, Fleer, Philadelphia Gum, Gum Inc., Donnuss.
  • Pre-war gum and candy cards manufactured by Goudey. National Chicle, Jolly Roger Ice Cream, Mickey Mouse, etc.
Other Cards
  • Hand numbered replacement cards accompanied by original letter of authorization from manufacturer, 1998 and later.
  • Autographed cards direct from manufacturer dated 1998 and later.
  • Autographed cards authenticated by PSA/DNA.
  • Hand cut cards such as Bazooka, Post Cereal, and varieties of Pre-war Strip cards.

Autographed licensed trading cards dated pre-1998 and/or those not directly from the manufacturer must be sent through the Autographed Card Grading and Authentication Service (fee may vary based on declared value). Autographed cards dated 1998 and later (direct from manufacturer or previously authenticated by PSA/DNA) may be sent it through any of PSA's listed services (note restrictions and requirements for each level).

PSA does not grade 1955 Topps unperforated Double Headers or any card manufactured by Star, except for Star Baseball & 1996 Star Topps (reprint) Basketball Cards.

We will grade entertainment tickets on a case by case basis. Please call customer service for inquiries.

We will not grade Ticket Master issued tickets for sporting events, high school tickets, audit or gate stubs, fan tickets issued after the event, Phantom Tickets where event never took place.

CURRENT PSA HOLDER SIZES

Below are the current approximate card holder sizes. These are the maximum sizes; there are many inserts available to provide a more custom fit for smaller cards. Please note that all cards and tickets vary in size. Occasionally, a card or ticket will not fit into the designated holder. If this occurs it will be placed in a Mylar sleeve and put in an oversized holder. There are also card/ticket issues that PSA's current holders cannot accommodate, but may be holdered in the future as new holders are introduced.

  • Standard - 2 11/16" x 3 13/16"
  • Tall Boy - 3 1/2" x 5 1/ 6"
  • Supersized (Ticket) - 3 5/8" x 7 1/2"
  • Supersized (Check) - 4 1/4" x 10"
  • T-3 Holder - 5 3/4" x 8"
