PSA Q & A Question: I know large pre-war issues like Turkey Red (T3) Cabinets have become extremely popular with collectors. Are there any fairly unique types of alterations found on these issues?Answer: You are correct in that these supersized cards have become increasingly popular in the last few years. Their large design helps make them very eye-appealing. One type of alteration that is sometimes seen on these issues is where card doctors might attempt to fill in tack holes or pin holes on the cards. Collectors would occasionally display these cards by tacking them or pinning then up on the wall, leaving a hole generally near the top of these cards.
