PSA Q & AQuestion: I have heard about the three major rarities in the T206 set in Honus Wagner, Eddie Plank and Sherry Magee, but why is the T206 Joe Doyle so valuable? Answer: Early in production, some Joe Doyle cards were released, noting him as playing for "N.Y. NAT'L" when he actually played in the AL for the New York Highlanders. Another Doyle (Larry) played in the NL for the New York Giants. The mistake was corrected relatively quickly judging by the handful of error cards that are known at this time.
