The 1992 Topps Micro baseball set consists of 804 cards, each measuring 1” x 1-3/8”. Issued only as a factory set, the cardboard collectibles included a dozen gold-foil cards. Each card front bears a color in-action or player portrait image, encompassed by a large, white area. Colored stripes border the immediate image area with the athlete’s name and team printed within stripes of various colors. A card’s reverse has its number, the player’s name, team affiliation, and expected statistical data. As with the regular issue counterpart, Topps’ 1992 Micro set is anchored by Nolan Ryan (#1), Ken Griffey, Jr. (#50), Ryne Sandberg (#110), Tony Gwynn (#270), Don Mattingly (#300), and George Brett (#620), and by the rookie card of Manny Ramirez (#156).
